How and when to visit Ilford Hospital Chapel
The Hospital Chapel has an OPEN DAY on the second Saturday of each month, commencing March each year to November. The hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
Admission is free. Guided tours are available and stalls offer memorabilia and other items. Refreshments are also available.
On the second Saturday in December, we usually have a Chapel Bazaar – for
more details see Friends.
We have arranged many private tours for different schools, societies and groups over the past years. The groups vary in size but are usually about 15 to 20 people. It is not really possible to deal with this number during Open Days and, in any case, the organisers prefer to have a private time when their people can ask questions etc. We do not charge for this but usually provide refreshments and most groups kindly give us a donation to cover costs etc. If you are a member of a group who would be interested to take advantage of this arrangement, please telephone the Friends Office and we will be pleased to discuss possibilities with you.

The entrance to the Chapel is through a gated wall on Ilford Hill; both
the courtyard and the Chapel itself are wheelchair accessible.
